Login Trouble / Problems Logging

Note: Rather than attempting to login from anywhere else (such as clicking on the playlist posted on your MySpace profile, attempting to search/add a song and logging in when asked). Just go directly to Playlist.com and click "log in". It may take you 5 seconds longer than usual but it's worth doing.

I Forgot My Password:
You've most likely seen this message before...


In this case normally all you should have to do is click that "Have you forgotten your password?" link.

You'll then follow these instructions on the next screen and fill in one of these fields


This will be your confirmation message...if you did the last step correctly


Note: This message means your info has been sent to the e-mail linked to the username you entered or if you entered an e-mail then it is sent containing the info for the username linked to that e-mail. It refers to "SPAM/junk mail" in the case that you do not see the e-mail in your inbox...your own e-mail provider may mark our message as spam and send it there. Your spam/junk mail is a folder just like your inbox is a folder, all mail providers have these so simply look around you'll spot it eventually.

--> If you don't seem to be getting this e-mail (I'd wait a day at the max), DO NOT repeat this process "one billion" times until you're so frustrated that when you finally notice the message about e-mailing us at playlist@projectplaylist.com you send an angry incoherent e-mail.

If all else fails, you e-mail us here. This e-mail is monitored by two (thats right...two) REAL people, so please be sure to include the necessary info for us to actually help you with your problem and not assume we know everything you sent to or received from the other "forgot password" system. One of us will manually reset your password.

Feel free to include:
1. A description of your problem
2. The e-mail used to create the account(s) you're requesting a password for
3. The name of the account you're trying to get a password for
